The Milwaukee Brewers have placed outfielder Brandon Lockridge on the 10-day injured list due to a leg injury, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Outfielder Blake Perkins was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move.
Lockridge, 29, sustained the injury during the fourth inning of Friday’s game against the New York Yankees when he slid into the wall in foul territory. While X-rays came back negative, he was diagnosed with a laceration that reached the bone.

Lockridge was batting .294 with four doubles and 12 RBIs over 28 games this season. Over his three-year career with the San Diego Padres and Brewers, he has posted a .251 batting average with one home run and 24 RBIs in 107 games.
Perkins, 29, went 5-for-46 (.109) in 19 games with the Brewers before being optioned to Nashville on Monday. In his four seasons with Milwaukee, he holds a career .224 average with 13 home runs and 87 RBIs across 261 games.
