The second half offered the majority of the action, with Famalicão pushing hard for an opener. In the 74th minute, Sorriso fired a right-footed shot from outside the box that sailed high and wide to the right, following a corner kick assisted by Rafa Soares. Minutes later, Leandro Antonetti (Estrela) had a chance on the counterattack, but his left-footed effort from the left flank drifted just wide of the far post.
Famalicão continued to threaten in stoppage time. In the 92nd minute, Umar Abubakar missed a close-range header from a Mathias de Amorim corner, sending the ball over the bar. Shortly after, Roméo Beney’s cross found Abubakar again, but his header from the center of the box went high and left.
The match saw several substitutions and bookings. Estrela made multiple changes, including Tom Moustier replacing Jovane Cabral, Kevin Höög Jansson coming on for an injured Alex Sola, and Leandro Antonetti taking over from Rodrigo Pinho, who had received a yellow card.
